Buckeye was once the largest community of Hungarians outside of Bucharest. It’s people-friendly streets held all of the amenities that its inhabitants could think of to make the American Dream come true. These days, Buckeye Avenue is quietly becoming an arts-based street, home to many bourgeoning cultural entrepreneurs. New housing has sprung up, followed by new libraries, schools, parks and medical facilities. It’s still a community that you can navigate by foot to find all that you desire.
